loads too many to list but 11 played in 1967



ok , i have gone and done the homework ...maybe i have missed someone but here goes.

1967 - Lisbon Lions-simpson, craig,gemmell,murdoch,macneill,

clark,johnstone,wallace,chalmers,auld,lennox.



1968- pat crerand -man utd

1970- many of the lions again plus

George Connelly,Jim Brogan,Evan williams,Davie Hay

with celtic

1975-leeds utd

david stewart,frank gray,billy bremner,peter lorimer,joe jordan eddie gray.

1977- Liverpool

A.Hansen,K.Dalgleish,G.Souness,

1979 + 1980 - Notts forest.

Mcgovern, K.Burns,J Robertson.

1982- Aston Villa

a.Evans K.McNaught, D.Bremner.

1984 - Liverpool

as 77 + S.Nicol

1985 - Liverpool

as 77 + s.nicol,J.Wark .G.Gillespie



1986 - BARCELONA - S.Archibald.

1997 - Borrussia Dortmund - P.Lambert.

Apart from the sellick side in 1967, Aston Villa won it in the 80's with 3 scots: Evans, McKnaught and Bremner. Liverpool in the 70's/80's with Dalglish, Souness, Hansen and Nicol. Forest with Gemmill, Robertson, Burns and McGovern. Lambert with Dortmund.



No doubt there are more, If I were you I would Google the topic and am sure you will find somewhere that lists the line-ups, and probably the nationalties of players involved, for all finals played so far.



Than again, you might know already know the answer and will tell us !

You can add Pat Crerand to Billy's list (Man Utd 1968) plus some more Celtic players who played in the final against Feyenoord a few years after 1967. Don't know all of them but Davie Hay, George Connelly were there possibly Lou Macari as well
