If being 12 factors in the back of wasn't sufficient to inspire them completely then no longer something is plus to be somewhat frank, we do no longer incredibly care how lots Celtic win now, as long as we win sufficient we would be champions in simple terms as long as Jelavic isn't giving tricks on a thank you to shield crosses i'm somewhat chuffed

You'd think Ally McCoist of all people would know better than to make ridiculous claims about an Old Firm game

we don't need any motivation to beat those filthy protestant b@stards but that fat wee paedophiles comments can be hung up on our dressing room wall in any case. maybe someone should show that dirty wee pr1ck what it means to be a footballer. he should stick to pumping sue barker up the a-hole and playing with the children at his masonic lodge.
P.S. WHOEVER 'RFC NO1' IS, I'D LIKE TO SAY WELL DONE FOR SENDING THAT WEE SLAPPER JUNKIE LINZI THAT EMAIL. WELL DONE. I'D HAVE WRITTEN A LOT MORE THOUGH.

A well balanced opinion, the fact that half the Celtic team have never experienced an old firm game is a big plus for the Ger's.

I take it then that "a very positive, tight squad, closely knit, experienced group" don't do you much good in the Champions League?
Or when struggling against lowly St Mirren for 3 hours?

See a lot of suggestions that experience is the key in an old firm match. Remind me how Lubo faired in his first OF game ?

Its going to be along fall for these guys, as Jock once said start at the bottom, and the only way is up, and I think Tony is practicing what Jock preached. We have seen all this drum banging before, trebles turn to doubles, doubles turn to leagues, and it all turns to riots and shame..
Looking forward to it, nice to see their own people heaping the pressure on themselves..

If Celtic really do need something as low-key as that to motivate them for a game against their bitterest rivals, there definitely is something far wrong in Mowbray's dressing room.

He is right enough though, experience is the key to winning these matches. Some of the new bhoys at Celtic are walking into unknown territory and won't even know themselves how they will handle it and Walter and Ally will be looking to take advantage of this.

if the Celtic players need motivation for an old firm game then they should not even be allowed near the park
