Agreed Dan, they have got a right sack of tatties on both their shoulders about it. You will never change that. At the end of the day though, we've won it, they've no, that makes me content and happy enough.
Yes, they've won more titles than us (which has allowed them many more failed attempts at the European Cup, than us), but we've still won 42 of them, so it's not as if we haven't won it, just they've won more, so it's not something that pisses me off (that much), but we have done something (as you rightly say) that they will never do and that makes me happy.
Mucky - Forrest are not a bigger club, you know it, I know it everyone knows it. There is no taking away though from what they done in 79 & 80, truly amazing that such a relatively small club won this trophy twice.
BB - as mentioned elsewhere. Fans of The Beatles still go on about Sgt Peppers released 1st Jun 67 and still rate it as the greatest thing the Beatles have ever done, actually a lot of people (not just Beatles fans) rate it as the Greatest Album ever made. Time has not diminished their achievement, why does time diminish ours (in Hun eyes?)
Eck - No, "the only recognised as good nowadays" team we beat was Inter. The other teams were clearly good enough to win their own (French, Yugoslavian, Czech and Swiss) Leagues and were no pushovers back in the 60's, well maybe Zurich were. Your 92/93 (who's bringing up history now?) was good, but we beat knocked out better teams, Fiorentina, Benfica, Leeds in 69/70.
Jamie - do you know many Villa or Forrest fans, believe me they do go on about it, wouldn't you if you'd won the most prestigious European trophy there is to win, of course you would, but you haven't , so you can't. How do you know Hamburg, Steaua, Dortmund etc don't go on about it?

I fail to see how you can determine or interpret my "type", through my postings on here. You might not like what I say, but I fail to see how you can adequately define who I am, from my words on here! Yes, I can be vile, I can be a cnut etc but those are just facets of me, I can also be funny, amusing, clever, observant, witty, charming etc, I am much more, than just the words I use on here.
Eck - France (you'll remember that one surely!!!) and Yugoslavia have both had one winner each since we won it. OK, i'll give you it though we had byes the whole way through and then played a shite Inter team, should have just given us the trophy at the start. It's strange how you lot have had plenty 'bye' games year in year out back then and still couldn't even manage a final, let alone a win. Like I've said before shite in Europe, yous always were ans always will be.
